Paint and sip.
Paint and sip. Let’s be honest, here. You might not know a lot about art, but you sure do love drinking with your friends. That’s why our paint by number kits are the perfect party solution for you: They combine a guided painting experience with easy-to-follow instructions that make it easy to get lost in conversation while you work. Each kit comes with a numbered canvas that lets you easily follow step-by-step instructions to create an unique work of art!
The great thing about our kits is they come with everything you need, including canvas, paints, brushes and cocktail mix, so all you have to do is sit back and sip on a refreshing beverage while letting your creative juices flow. At the end of the night, when everyone goes home happy and tipsy, they’ll also get to take their artwork with them as a fun reminder of what y’all did together—and maybe even as a gift for their newlywed friend!
Make a list of items to search for
Make a list of possible locations
Leave clues in the form of notes, photos or other hints for each location
Allocate time to find all the locations and items on your lists
Have everyone take photos/videos as they locate and collect each item on the scavenger hunt list (preferably with something that proves their location)
Meet back at your final destination so everyone can reveal what they found along with their proof (this is where you may have prizes available for first place winners, teams that located everything, etc.)
A spa day isn't for everyone. If you're a bride who isn't into the idea of spending an entire vacation day getting pampered, this option may not work for your bachelorette party. However, if you and your girlfriends would rather spend the weekend relaxing than celebrating with lots of alcohol, a spa day is one of the best options available.
Spa days can take many forms. Some options are more affordable than others, but they all include some combination of massages, facials, manicures/pedicures, and other treatments that will make you feel like a brand new person by the end of the experience.
Spas often offer packages that include several different types of treatments at once or in rapid succession. This is a great way to unwind after hours spent planning your wedding while still getting to spend quality time with your friends and family members who are sharing this experience with you!
Cocktail tasting night.
A cocktail tasting party is a great way to show off your mixology skills or to introduce you and your girlfriends to a variety of new drinks.
Don’t let the alcohol be the star of the night, it’s all about the presentation! Use your imagination and throw yourself into making this event special. If you want to add an extra wow factor, consider hiring a professional bartender to teach you how to make some fancy drinks!
Here are some fun ideas for throwing a killer cocktail party:
Picnic in the park.
A lovely picnic in the park is a classic and simple bachelorette party idea. You can keep it casual with a blanket, basket, and some sandwiches or go all-out with a tablecloth, picnic basket, and even a picnic table. (You can never be too prepared when there's food involved!)
For this activity to work as an event, you'll need to make sure that everyone knows what they're bringing so that you have an assortment of food. We recommend assigning guests to bring specific dishes such as chips, dip, cookies—or even the picnic basket. Once you have everything set up and are ready to eat, place all of the ingredients on top of the picnic blanket or cloth. Don't forget to take photos!
Bring out your inner Beyoncé/Britney/Taylor Swift and make some memories by taking a dance class. This is a fun, active way to make sure everyone gets their heart pumping and have a good time. If you're looking for
something more casual, get the party started by teaching everyone how to do the Cha-Cha or Electric Slide. Or you can take it up a notch by learning a new skill like burlesque dancing! You can even book someone to come to your hotel room or apartment so that you don't even need to worry about leaving.
Take a pottery class together.
Bachelorette parties are all about creating memories, and there's nothing more memorable than making art together. Taking a pottery class with your best friends is an ideal choice of venue for a laid back, just-for-fun evening. You can do it online or in person—and you'll have something to take home at the end of the party. Bring snacks and drinks; this is definitely one activity where eating while you create is encouraged!
Shaping clay is challenging, so everyone ends up feeling accomplished and proud afterwards. Plus, if you're having a large group join in the fun, clay work can be done one-at-a-time, making it easier for everyone to stay safely distanced from each other.
Day at the beach.
Bring a blanket so that you can sit down in the sand without getting sunburned.
Bring a waterproof bag to hold your phone and keys so you don't have to worry about them getting wet or sandy.
Bring a big hat with visor to keep the sun out of your face and eyes.
Don’t forget sunscreen, especially if you'll be sitting out under an umbrella!
Bring a towel for drying off when you're done swimming in the sea or pool. You can even lay it on the sand like a picnic blanket and eat snacks on it while you chat with friends!
Go to a cooking class or take a baking class.
Search for cooking classes in your area, then gather the girls and get cooking! The bride-to-be will leave with a full belly, good memories and maybe even some new recipes to bring home.
If you don’t want to get up that early—or you’re more of a baker than a cooker—consider taking the girls on a baking course instead. You can still enjoy wine while having fun decorating cookies and cakes, but you won’t have to worry about any oven mishaps or getting up too early!
